Some days are good some are bad, but recently we have been having alot of bad.. but isn't that life? We should expect it right? The old adage when it rains it pours had been proven true in the last few days, but we have faith that the Lord will pull us through. Last Tuesday I was feeling really down and not sure if i could handle anything else, but the encouragement of a dear friend helped me see that God's hand is in everything even when it seems hard. Most of you know that that week I totaled the van , had a minor dentist procedure that made my face frozen for like 3 hrs. ha ha the kids thought it was funny:).. we are in the middle of refinancing our home and there is lots to do before the appraisal is done.Taylor and Aiden both got ear infections over the weekend.
My mothers day wasn't how I planned it and sometimes you just have to roll with it . Saturday I got sick with a major fever and by Monday had a bad case of the flu and ... STREP.. are you kidding me..Agghh! well needless to day once again God proved his love and faithfulness through another dear friend who called me yesterday an hour after I got back from the doctors with the awful news, and just loved on me. wow isn't God good! my mother-in-law came and helped out that day with the kids and I was able to rest.
I think sometimes we forget what a great God we have and are so wrapped up in our own feeling and drama that we don't look for or expect God to help out.. Lord, Help me to look to you in the moments of stress and to trust your hand in all things.
