A Journey to Understanding God's plan
Hello Friend's,
I apologize for the lack of post's .. there have been some changes happing in our home and I just haven't had the time or energy to keep everyone up to date on all that has happened in the last 4 months.. but now that the kids are returning back to school, I find that I have a small window of time now to catch you up..so here goes..
My last post was about the women's conference we had a church were God really got a hold of me through a awesome women of God Rhonda Calhoun and revealed himself to me in a awesome way.. fast forward one week and my daughter Taylor who is four, became very ill and was diagnosed with Kawasaki's and also kidney issues.. We were in the hospital for 3 weeks in which time the enemy really set about attacking my heart and mind about myself and my family..She slowly got better and we were able to come home.. not even 2 weeks later she returned to the hospital with kidney issues again.. needless to say my heart n mind by that time was not in a right place with the Lord.. I was angry at God, my marriage was struggling and I was feeling about done in...
God really began at this time really laying the ministry that Rhonda Calhoun and her husband Danny, had started on our church body as whole and 2 months ago the youth group took their summer missions trip to the farm to help Our Fathers Farm summer camp that the Calhoun's had started.. several others in our church went up and I began to hear amazing testimony's of what God was doing there on the farm..
One very special couple that we have dubbed our spiritual parents had attended the farm for some training and as they walked this past year with Jay and I , it became clear that this would be a good step for our family to take.
Fast forward to the end of July, we began to make plans for me to go out to the farm to spend some time with Jesus and work on healing my heart.. we set a date of august 8th - 22nd .. I was really excited to see where the Lord was going to take us, but you know that when You decide to once again put your life in God's hands the enemy doesn't like it and on August 3rd, Taylor was admitted to the hospital with serious kidney issues again.. We have continued to pray and are believing that God will heal her whether its through him or the doctor's, we are confident that he has her in his hands.. Thankfully she had a short stay and I was able to go on my trip to Holden , Mo ..
The Lord's timing is always perfect and in 2 weeks the Lord delt with over 25 years of junk ... I have fallen in Love with Jesus in a whole new way and my eyes have been opened to how real he is..This attitude has already transformed every aspect of my life including parenting and my marriage.. the Lord has given me a whole new set of eyes for my hubby and my kids.. to love Jesus and love and serve my hubby
and kid's has become one of the greatest joy's in my life in the last 4 weeks.
Taylor is still battling infection in her kidneys as well as ear infection at this very moment ,but I know that my God is faithful to complete the work that he is doing in our family and especially in my heart..
To put it simply, sometimes understanding isn't needed... Loving Jesus is all you need!
Thanks friends for listing to my ramblings, may your day be blessed .

A WELLSPRING OF JOY, A NEW NAME AND FREEDOM!
OK ,so most of you all know my testimony and the continued work that the Lord has been doing in my life, but I have in the last few days found more freedom and love and peace in the midst of our life's storm etc.. than in any other time in my life.. and the funny thing is that I don't have to do anything ,but let God be God! ha ha such a extraordinary concept but I feel is one that we rarely understand.. we feel like we have to do something , anything to earn Gods love and he already has given it so freely!
We had a women's conference at our church and God totally got a hold of me in a really cool way and has made himself so clear in his love and faithfulness to me ..
So this week I will share a verse with you that has really made some things so real to me..
Isaiah 43:19:
Behold, I will do a new thing,
NOW it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.
Jesus you are so good!
Have a blessed week!
